Just a Head's Up . . .

While First Christian Church in Mitchell is my church home, the stuff that rumbles through my mind and ends up posted here is not tied to the ethos, opinions, mindset or leadership of FCC. It's pretty much just me "talkin' loco, and I like it." Don't throw stones. You could put an eye out. Really.

These are interesting days. My body is beginning to tell me that I'm aging, but my mind refuses to believe it. I'm at a point in my life where the question "What if . . .?" occupies my thoughts whether I look back at yesterday, or forward to tomorrow. I am continually stunned by how God reminds me that He is real, and how He jealously holds tight to me. My life may disappoint you - I often disappoint myself - but one thing I am learning is this: there's nothing I can do to make God love me less. And so, armed with the knowledge of His great love, I choose to rise again this day and live for Him. That's my offering. It's all I have. Peace!
